The Kiala service enables the collection of parcels, bought via catalogues, TV shopping or the Internet, when and where it suits the consumer. The consumer can also pay for and or return a parcel in a Kiala Point.

- More predictability and visibility: the consumer can track and trace a parcel through the Kiala website and is immediately informed about its arrival or delay via landline, mobile phone or by e-mail. If the customer forgets to collect the parcel, a reminder is automatically sent by the same means of communication after 5 days.
- Speed: The parcels are delivered within 24/48 hours. The customer can collect the parcel at his or her convenience after receiving notification that the parcel has arrived in-store.

It allows the automation of all activities involved in the transportation and delivery of parcels bought from a distance. The Kiala Points are equipped with state-of-the-art personal digital assistants combining a Palm-based hand-held computer, a scanner and a modem. The heavy administrative tasks and sources of errors are thus removed from the both the delivery and returns processes.
